These classes are limited in student numbers and are dedicated to preparing students for their examinations. A team of highly qualified and experienced teachers, focused on your success, will guide you through the entire course.
Other Examinations
Self access is available to assist students preparing for other tests including IELTS and TOEFL.
Candidates for these courses are required to take an entry test before enrolment. This can be done in your home country.

We make use of the interactive communicative methodology and include strategies and practices to develop:

Our curriculum is accredited by the National Elicos Accreditation Scheme and all teachers meet NEAS standards.
* Our Classes
Our average class size is 12 students, all placed according to a regular testing programme. Students may change classes as they improve during 4-week cycles, but this is usually based on test results.

This flexible system offers separate levels for grammar and general skills so that each student is always at their optimum class level. We also offer a range of elective choices so students can customize their study plan and follow personal areas of interest.

■ High School Preparation
High School Preparation
Cambridge International College offers a dedicated secondary school preparation class which incorporates a very strong focus on English for Academic Purposes together with support in subject areas. The course also provides "conversion" into the local Australian context for some subjects.
The staff are committed to the highest standard of service to the family/guardian and the students.
In addition, we offer assistance with secondary school placement in a school that suits the needs of the student and family.

■ Prof.Course-Community Welfare
The Diploma of Community Welfare is designed to prepare students to work at a professional level in the human services industry, in such areas as community organizations, church agencies, self-help groups and statutory services. Delivery is in-classroom with industry fieldwork. Field work is an integral part of the training.
Community Welfare Workers are usually involved in service delivery, either direct client work and/or community education and community development projects. They may also have responsibility for the supervision of other staff and volunteers. Workers at this level are required to have an understanding of Indigenous culture and history and to work with local communities in the provision of services.

■ Prof.Course-Graphic Pre-Press
The Certificate III in Printing and Graphic Arts (Graphic Pre-Press) is ideal for people wishing to gain a broad and thorough knowledge of the Printing and Graphic Arts Industry while the Diploma of Multimedia provides trainees with the skills and knowledge to work in many areas of multimedia design and production across the arts, entertainment, e-commerce and media industries.
Trainees have the opportunity to develop the multimedia skills in digital graphics, web page development, 2D and 3D animation, screen design, multimedia authoring, programming and knowledge of scripting languages and advanced HTML as well as pre-press skills in typography, design and layout, preparing files for print, scanning images, image outputting, scheduling basics, customer service, and a range of software applications used in the pre-press industry today. On successful completion a trainee has developed the skills necessary to work as a member of a multimedia development team or perform the duties of a pre-press tradesperson.

■ Prof.Course-Hospitality
This Hospitality course provides students with a broad understanding of sectors of the Hospitality Industry; this includes knowledge of employer expectations, an awareness of the need for satisfactory interpersonal skills and teamwork, and practical experience in serving and advising clients.
These nationally accredited courses are fully recognised by TAFE and University institutions.Work simulation is provided through a college bar and restaurant, students participate in college functions throughout the year in operations and management situations.Course DurationCourses are full-time.
ㆍCertificate II in Hospitality Operations- 18 weeks (two terms) - start any term - NOT AVAILABLE
ㆍCertificate III in Hospitality Operations- 27 weeks (three terms) - start any term -NOT AVAILABLE
ㆍCertificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) and Diploma in Hospitality - 72 weeks - start any term.
Further Studies and Recognition
Students successfully completing Certificate courses in Hospitality will be eligible to continue studies towards the Diploma of Hospitality. Graduates of the Diploma Course may obtain credits at local Universities towards a Bachelor's degree.
Hospitality Course Entry Requirements
Satisfactory completion of Year 11 or equivalent, or good passes at Year 10 level. Mature age students with work experience will be admitted through an interview or submission of appropriate documentation. The medium of instruction at Cambridge International College is English. Students must meet one of the following English assessment criteria: IELTS band 4.5, TOEFL 450, or a satisfactory standard achieved from the Cambridge International College English Test. Other forms of testing may be acceptable to the College.
